Cast of The Judge's Personal Dilemma


Tanneshia Shauntay as "Laura"
 

An educator and aspiring actress, Tanneshia has participated in several films and theater productions. A proud Southside of Chicago native and member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Tanneshia pursued her love for entertainment in 2009.  Her work includes the short film Player of Comedy (Mixenuf Entertainment) where she played “Denise”. Continuing in the film genre, Tanneshia was the commentator and interviewer in the documentary on the Chicago based House Music Scene. In that production, Chosen Few DJ’s, she interviewed an array of world reknown House Music DJs. Tanneshia also made a cameo appearance in the Chicago based TV Series, That's LifeWhat About the Children. She also participated in a short movie and music video for up and coming Chicago artist Harold Green (Charisma S.S. Productions). Tanneshia also has a theater background which includes several Chicago-based plays including Crossed, Preacher Player, Pretty Ugggly (Calvin King Productions) and I'm Marrying the Wrong Woman (Ralph J. Productions). and the role of “Attorney Stewart” in the JKBU Productions independent film.

 

   Herbert L. House III as "Myles"

 

Herbert is excited to be working Firahs B Productions for a second time! Born and Raised on the South Side of Chicago, House (affectionately called by all) posses a Bachelor in Biology and is currently working on his Master in Counseling, while working  for North Lawndale College Prep High School as the Phoenix rising Coordinator.  Acting & comedy has always been a part of what makes House, House. Known as the comedian amongst family and friends House takes joy in bringing laughter and entertainment to those he encounters. Getting his start on stage in the second grade at Carrie Jacob Bond Elementary school, House found one of the places he feels most comfortable on stage making people smile.  His gift was cultivated at Paul Robeson High under the Mrs. Gloria Melton, Drama/English Teacher.  His biggest passion is serving God & wanting to God to be pleased in all that he does.  He currently served as the Youth Minster at Original Mount Pleasant MBC under the leadership of Dr. Errol A. Redwell Sr. where he is growing in the knowledge of God.  Also He also is a Proud Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Inc.

   Dillard Taylor Jr. as "Carlton"

Dillard is a native of Chicago, IL looking for a chance at stardom. Currently located in Matteson, Dillard was born and raised in Chicago by a single mother. He is a passionate young man who knows where he’s going and knows what he wants and needs to do. He’s living his dream as an on stage performer dancing, modeling or acting theatre. He is a trained dancer in such fields as ballet, hip hop, or any type of urban dances. He was most seen doing impersonation of entertainers such as James Brown, Jackie Wilson and Michael Jackson.  He has been a part of many Chicago stage plays in different theatre such as Gorilla Tango Theatre, Jacob Carruthers Theatre and the Temple of Glory. Dillard has also done fashion shows by an up and coming clothing line call “Favit Colour Gray.” He has also has done shows written and directed by Elizabeth Nonie of Plus Size Productions, including Grass Ain’t Greener, Jezebel Ain’t Dead, and Tryin’ to Pay The Bills. This is Dillard’s second time working Firahs B Productions . He recently starred in the stage play “The Anchored Man.”  Also, Dillard is also a graduate of ITT Technical Institute. He has a degree in Computer Drafting & Design and will continue to pursue a higher education while still performing on stage.
 

 

 

         Carl Weatherspoon Jr. as "Randall"  

 

A native of Gary, Indiana, Carl attended nearby Purdue University. The oldest of two brothers and two sisters Carl attended college where he received a baseball and track scholarship. Carl double majored in Computer Technology and African American studies so he could become well rounded. Along with playing two Big Ten sports, Carl was also active in the Black Student Union where he was webmaster, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and also vice president for the National Pan-Hellenic Council which is the governing body for African American fraternities and sororities. Carl is currently working on his MBA online with the University of Phoenix and he plans to graduate May 2011. Carl’s awards and activities are extensive so here are a few: Purdue Education Grant (2002- 2006), Corvette Club Scholarship (2002-2006), Four sport lettermen in high school (1999- 2002) and two sport lettermen at Purdue University (2002 – 2006). He started acting and modeling at the age of 18 because he was bored and has done things like:  B.A.S.E. Fashion Show, L’Shanell Fashion Show, CLEONS Spring Show, Lakeview Fashion Show,   Marlboro Tobacco Photo Shoot, BALLY’s Fitness Commercial ,  and  Miller Lite Photo shoot. This is Carl's third Brian Stanley play.

  Chantal Chavon as "Camille"

 Chantel Chavon has been involved in the performing arts since she was three years old. What started out for her as a love for Dance, quickly grew into an intense passion for Acting. She has been seen on stage with memorable performances in productions such asHospice (ETA),  Money Factor (Soul Savin Productions), Preacher Player (Pyramid Productions) and I’m Marrying The Wrong Woman (Ralph J. Productions).  She was also featured in the independent film, “Hers. Theirs. Ours.”, directed by Aaron Greer.  Chantel has studied drama at both ETA Creative Arts and Act One. She is currently a full time Public Relations student at Purdue University and maintains a 3.9 G.P.A.             Jenil Bennett as "Naomia"

Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Jenil has always had an interest and passion in the field of acting. In 2008 she followed her passion as a student at DePaul University, where she performed a profound role in the Vagina Monologues. Jenil enjoys empowering and motivating people on and off of the stage. Currently she works closely with Child Care Providers to build empowering relationships that lead to quality child care. Jenil is so very excited to be working Firahs B Productions for the first time! Look forward to seeing more of this amazing actress in the future!

 

 

 

Dwight Davis as "Keith"
