About Us
The stage performances and films focus on the challenges and successes and life changing decisions that many of today's youth as well as many urban professionals consistently undergo.
Our artistic work with a focus on today's youth bring to life the reality of living in the “hood” and also bring out the good nature of all people. The genre focuses on peer pressure, teenage pregnancy, stagnation, crime, gang activity, racism, racial profiling, poor academic standards, the holiday season, family, friends and spirituality.
Our artistic expressions with a focus on urban professionals deal with the challenges and successes of dating, relationships, life changing decisions, spirituality, friends, family, stereotypes, entrepreneurship, career choices and mediocrity.
Brian is married to his wife Shaneka and they have two children, Jaira and Brian Jr.
About the Artistic Director
Brian Stanley is a Chicago area native who grew up with a keen interest in the creativity and production of entertainment from music videos, movies and other live performances. Quite often, Brian can be heard asking thought-provoking questions about story lines, scenes, pointing out commonalities and irregularities, placement of objects and plot. He’s attended over four dozen live performances and has been inspired by his vacations to L.A. and New York where he had multiple opportunities to meet with actors, producers, directors, writers and being an audience member of live shows. Brian has been further influenced by the works of well known playwrights in soul theatre, Tyler Perry, Laterras Whitfield and David E. Talbert and the works of the ETA theatre in Chicago.
From 2009-2010, Brian began writing, producing and directing stage plays for inner city youth at the Chicago Youth CentersNorth Lawndale ABC location. He really enjoyed working with the youth in his old neighborhood and hopefully the stories allowed the children in the community to focus more on their academics and personal growth and detered them away from drugs, gangs and negative peer pressure.
